A compact 15 Nm direct-drive base built around a 5-pole motor, 21-bit encoder and 1000 Hz USB polling, in a 160 mm aluminum housing. The NRG/D1-style quick release is integrated with a USB slip ring, and VRS's own R295 rims connect wirelessly.
