Choosing a monitor mount
A monitor mount decides whether your screens stay planted once the racing gets physical. Freestanding mounts isolate the displays from the rig entirely — the right call when haptics are hammering the chassis or you want zero shake in the picture. Integrated mounts bolt to the rig itself, keeping the screens fixed relative to your eyes; on a motion platform, that's what keeps the view moving with you.
Three specs do the deciding: how many screens the mount supports (singles versus triples), the maximum screen size it's rated for, and the VESA pattern on the back of your displays. Triple mounts additionally need enough width and angle adjustment to wrap the side screens correctly — the angle is a function of your seating distance, not taste.
TrophySim aligns monitor arrays to the driver's eye point during installation — distance, height, and wrap angle measured and set, not eyeballed.
